Qatar Airways and Hilton are running a joint promotion, although it’s a bit of a weird one because there’s very little about it that’s joint.
When booking paid Qatar Airways flights, you can get both a 10% discount and up to 6,000 bonus Avios, but there are no bonus Hilton points on offer, nor any kind of rewards for Hilton stays.

Quick Thoughts
This promotion was launched last week and I’ve still no idea what the purpose of Hilton’s involvement is beyond the word ‘Hilton’ being part of the promo code.
The offer landing page says that you can get the discount and bonus Avios as a Hilton Honors member, but it doesn’t look like even that’s necessary. I imagine most people reading this post do have a Hilton Honors membership, but all you need to do is enter the QRPCHILTON promo code when booking a paid Qatar Airways flight; there doesn’t seem to be any requirement to enter your Hilton Honors membership number.
Qatar Airways is one of the few airlines that has an affiliate program open to shopping portals. That means that when booking paid flights to take advantage of this offer, it’s also worth clicking through from a shopping portal. Using the promo code might invalidate the cashback/rewards, but it’s worth a try anyway.
If you have the Capital One Shopping browser extension installed, keep an eye out for targeted emails. I’ve gotten a few emails recently from Capital One Shopping offering 10% back on Qatar flights.

I agree with you about the Capital One shopping trick. I was browsing flights last week and also got several “10% back up to $250” on Qatar flights. Fantastic deal.
