IHG has an ongoing promotion that gives 15% off when booking award stays at their new properties around the world. The start of September brought with it an update in the eligible properties that are bookable at a discount through the end of November 2024.

- This new hotel Reward Night discount offer for a 15% discount on Reward Nights booked at newly opened and recently renovated IHG hotels (the “Offer”) is available only to IHG One Rewards members who book by the stay date indicated in the communications only shared by official IHG communication channels on hotel local time for stays beginning June 1, 2024 to qualify for the Offer.” (the “Offer Period”).
- This Offer only applies to the hotels listed on this webpage and is made available to members only when booking through an official IHG online reservations site while signed into their IHG One Rewards account.
- The Offer is for a 15% discount off the number of points needed to book a stay using points only.
- The 15% discount is offered at time of booking as identified on the participating hotel’s booking page.
- For members with a qualifying Chase IHG Rewards credit card, the Offer is not available to use along with the “Fourth Reward Night Free” cardmember benefit when booking a stay of four (4) or more consecutive Reward Nights. The Offer is available for eligible cardmembers booking three (3) or fewer consecutive Reward Nights.

Quick Thoughts
While I wouldn’t go out of my way to book one of these properties just to save 15%, it’s a nice discount if you were planning on staying at one of these properties anyway.
The list of new and renovated IHG hotels is also useful as a way of identifying potentially interesting properties that weren’t previously on your radar. For example, here are some new properties that caught my eye:

Note that if you have an IHG Premier, Traveler or Business credit card which offers every 4th night free on award stays, those savings aren’t stackable with the 15% discount.
