Emirates Skywards is offering an award ticket sale for economy class flights on select partner airlines, including domestic economy class awards on United Airlines. Emirates isn’t often your best option for booking its partners, but in some cases this could work out to be a decent deal if you can book by March 31, 2025.

- Emirates Skywards is offering an award sale whereby you can get 25% off on partner economy class awards on select airlines when you book by March 31, 2025 and travel by January 6, 2026. You can also get 25% off of hotel redemptions, but you aren’t likely to find compelling deals there. The following airline partners qualify:

Quick Thoughts
Emirates offers distance-based awards. Here is the chart listed for awards on United Airlines, though I think most (all?) of the included partners use the same chart.
Remember that this sale only applies to economy class redemptions. Most of the award rates aren’t terribly exciting, but you can certainly score some reasonably-priced award tickets in certain situations.
For instance, you’ll find some short-distance United economy class flights for just 6,000 miles and $10.10 one-way, like these options from Salt Lake City to Denver.
That certainly beats the 12,900 miles that United is charging for the same flights.
Note that the flexible date search does not work for partner airlines (or perhaps specifically for United?). When I searched a one-way award and checked the box for “+/- 3 days” on the calendar, I got zero results. I had to choose a specific date to see the flights above.
While it isn’t a completely failsafe method, I used Seats.aero and searched for North America to North America via Air Canada Aeroplan to find a United flight that was available to Air Canada in the hopes that it would also be available to other partners like Emirates. That might not work in all cases because I think Air Canada Aeroplan might have expanded access to some United award space.
Still, if you can find a qualifying flight, this could work out to be a good deal.
