Southwest regularly runs promotions giving discounts on flights and their latest one references the fact that it’s currently Amazon Prime Day.

Quick Thoughts
As you can see in the terms above, there are various blackout dates. In addition to those, there’s no guarantee that every other day will be eligible for the discount. For example, here’s what October looks like from Spokane to Los Angeles:
What’s particularly nice about these types of Southwest promotions is that with the points price being linked to the cash price, a promo code that discounts cash tickets also reduces the number of Rapid Rewards points required for an award ticket.
Although this award sale is valid on flights from August 6 through December 18, 2024 (with the aforementioned blackout dates), you have to book using the PRIME promo code by tonight (July 17).

I can’t seem to find any coupon code box. I’m using Chrome mobile. Where should I look?
The only place I could find to input it is before searching but it didn’t change the price for my trip.
When you go to do a search, there’s a box that says ‘Promo Code (Optional)’ – you enter it there. If it doesn’t take anything off, it means that your dates and/or route aren’t eligible for this offer for one reason or another.
I keep getting an error that the code cannot be validated when going to the flight selection screen. Tried multiple dates and destinations and one way and round trip.
