Quick Thoughts

This could be a very useful sale depending on if the promo code works on the routes and dates you’re interested in. Even if the HAWAII40 promo code is valid on your route and dates, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll be valid on every flight that day. It also doesn’t mean that you’ll get a 40% discount as the promo offers ‘up to’ 40% off.

For example, here’s Phoenix to Lihue (Kauai) on a random date in December. A handful of Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares are discounted, but not all of them. The discounts are also for 20% off rather than 40%.

Still, if you were planning a trip to Hawaii this year, it’s worth checking the pricing with this sale. You’ll need to be quick though as you have to book by tomorrow (July 10), although flight dates are valid through December 17 with some blackout dates.
