Southwest is out with another sale, this time giving up to 30% off when using promo code SUNNY30. The sale is valid for travel dates for much of the rest of the year, but you have to book by Thursday May 8.

Quick Thoughts

I did a handful of searches using the SUNNY30 promo code and the range of routes and timings that were eligible for the discount seemed more plentiful than some other recent Southwest sales.

The sale offers “up to” 30% off, which means that the discount you receive might be less than that. However, for the searches I did the full 30% discount was applied which was a pleasant surprise.

The nice thing about Southwest promo codes that offer a discount on paid fares is that you can use the code to also obtain a discount on award bookings.

As mentioned at the start of the post, although the sale is valid on travel dates for much of the year (in the contiguous US anyway), you have to book by Thursday May 8 to use the SUNNY30 promo code.
