Miles are so easy anymore, there is a devaluation, and it is not a problem.

Last year we picked up 5 AA EX Cards…500,000 miles…

It took me almost 20 years to get the first MM..

Bill

Last year we had a hundred thousand mile sign up bonus

And now you think an extra 5000 for every 20,000 is a big deal

Corky

Don’t you think there has to be an AA devaluation coming soon? They are handing out points like candy, and still haven’t burned through the millions or billions Citi gave away last year.

Brian

Was thinking the same thing. AA acquiring as many customers as it can using miles as an incentive since they know they can devalue at any time and boost their revenue numbers. The cost of issuing the miles will be more than made up by new customers and devaluation bump.

Ken

Between the easy Citi CC signups, merging of US accounts, and transfer bonuses I can only imagine a huge deval is coming. I have a sizable stash saved up, so hopefully we’ll be able to book next summer’s flights before things go downhill. We’ve got a whole bunch of CX/JL J and F flights coming soon here too, our first F flights ever, and on CX and JL to boot! So excited to try Krug, Salon, caviar, etc.

Mike

I’m assuming the answer is no since it’s not mentioned in the terms anywhere but is there a limit to the number of bonus miles? Assuming not, I’m going to transfer 60k Starpoints. 90k for the price of 60k is a great deal.
