The Target Green Monday sale is on: Today (Monday, 12/11) only, Target is offering $20 off of every $100 on a wide assortment of items as part of its Green Monday sale (though note that there are some exclusions noted below). This sale would combine nicely with this morning’s announced last-minute portal bonuses as most of them are triggered with a $150 purchase — and with this sale, $200 in merchandise comes down to $160. Toys are excluded on this one, but there is a separate toy sale going this week where you can save $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 — see more on that in the “Quick Thoughts” section below.
The Deal
- Save $20 for every $100 you spend (online only)
- Direct link to Target Green Monday sale (this is our affiliate link, but don’t forget you can go through a shopping portal)

Quick Thoughts
While not quite as good as the 20% off coupons that were running previously from Black Friday, this Target Green Monday sale is still a nice deal if you’ve got a purchase near a $100 mark. Keep in mind that the max discount is $100 off of $500, and this excludes a number of popular electronics categories, gift cards, and toys. However, there is a separate toy sale that is not combinable: save $10 when you spend $50 or $25 when you spend $100 – no promo code required.
Note that the toy sale is available both in-store and online through 12/16.
While I don’t have a lot of luck with shopping portals and Target as there are so many exclusions, it might be worth looking at the airline portals as they released last-minute shopping bonuses this morning.
