IHG One Rewards is targeting some members with a promotion giving double elite night credits through the end of July, with a limit of 10 bonus elite nights on offer.

- To participate in this Offer, you must be an IHG One Rewards member and must be invited to participate. After receiving an invitation, you must register your member number in advance in order to be eligible for the Offer. The “Offer Period” is from ‍June 16, 2025, through ‍July 31, 2025. A member can only register once. By registering for the Offer, a member is accepting these Terms and Conditions.
- The “Up to 10 Bonus Elite Night Credits” promotional offer (the “Offer”) provides you with an opportunity to earn one “Bonus Elite Night Credit” for each Offer-Qualifying Room Night stayed during the Offer Period, up to a maximum of ten (10) Bonus Elite Night Credits. For each “Bonus Elite Night Credit” you earn under the Offer, you will be credited with an additional Elite Qualifying Night for purposes of determining Elite membership status and Milestone Rewards earned under the IHG One Rewards program in 2025.
- “Bonus Elite Night Credits” do not qualify as Rollover Nights or as Qualifying Nights for any other purpose or benefit under the IHG One Rewards program.
- After registering, a member can earn up to a maximum of ten (10) Bonus Elite Night Credits under this Offer, as follows: one (1) Bonus Elite Night Credit will be awarded to the member’s IHG One Rewards account after each Offer-Qualifying Room Night stay during the Offer Period. For example, if a member has stays that result in a total of three (3) Offer-Qualifying Room Nights during the Offer Period, the member would earn three (3) Bonus Elite Night Credits. These Bonus Elite Night Credits are in addition to any base Elite Qualifying Nights the member earns for their stays. As a result, in the above example, in addition to the three (3) Bonus Elite Night Credits, the member would also be credited with three (3) base Elite Qualifying Nights, effectively giving the member credit for 6 Elite Qualifying Nights towards earning Elite status and Milestone Rewards in 2025.
- To be an “Offer-Qualifying Room Night” under this Offer, the room night must fall within the Offer Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. As noted above, the “Offer Period” is from ‍June 16, 2025, through ‍July 31, 2025. Room nights outside of the Offer Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Offer also are not included.
- For purposes of this Offer, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night.
- Participating hotels include all IHG Hotels & Resorts, with the exception of those Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that do not participate in the IHG One Rewards program.
- Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Offer.
- Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as b‍o‍o‍k‍i‍n‍g‍.‍c‍o‍m or e‍x‍ped‍i‍a‍.‍c‍o‍m also do not qualify under this Offer.
- If more than one member who registered for the Offer checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn Bonus Elite Night Credits under this Offer based on those nights that qualify.
- If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will only receive credit towards this Offer for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of an Offer-Qualifying Room Night.
Quick Thoughts
IHG seems to run these targeted promos every year and they have the potential to be useful even if you’re not interested in earning status with IHG via elite night credits.
The reason why those credits might still be of interest is thanks to the Milestone Rewards feature that IHG launched a few years ago. Starting at 20 elite night credits, you can pick rewards for every 10 nights you stay, with benefits including bonus points, food & beverage credits, confirmable suite upgrade awards and lounge access.
As a result, even if you haven’t stayed a single night with IHG this year but are targeted for this promotion, staying 10 nights by the end of July will earn you a total of 20 elite night credits – enough for 2x $20 food & beverage credits, 5,000 bonus points or a confirmable suite upgrade.
As mentioned, this appears to be a targeted promotion, so there’s no guarantee that you’ll be eligible for this offer. It’s worth trying to register though just in case.
Note that only paid nights costing $30+ before taxes and fees are eligible, so award nights and Points & Cash rates won’t earn the double elite night credits.
