IHG One Rewards is targeting some members with a promotion offering double elite night credits through the end of September, with a limit of 10 bonus elite nights.
Oddly, IHG has another bonus elite night promotion going on at the same time. That one maxes out at 5 nights and ends one day earlier than this one. This one appears to be targeted specifically to certain corporate customers, but if you haven’t signed up for either of them, it’s probably worth giving this one a shot first, since there’s the potential for bonus nights. Despite what the terms might indicate, it usually has an unexpectedly wide net.

Key Terms
- To participate in this promotion (the “Promotion”), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account, be part of a corporate group expressly invited to participate in the Promotion by an IHG Global Sales Key Account contact, book their Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays using a valid corporate ID, and register for the Promotion under their IHG One Rewards member number. The Promotion period begins on July 1, 2026 and ends on September 30, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
- Once a member registers for the Promotion, the member will be eligible to earn Bonus Elite Night Credits (up to 10) through September 30, 2026. Through this promotion, the member can earn two (1) Bonus Elite Night Credits for every one (1) night stayed during the promotion period (up to 10). Only a member’s qualifying nights that are part of a Qualifying Stay during the Promotion Period are counted for purposes of the Promotion. Room nights prior to registration or outside of the Promotion Period are not included. However, a Qualifying Stay can begin before the Promotion Period or end after the Promotion Period, and the member will receive credit for the room nights falling within the Promotion Period.
- “Bonus Elite Night Credits” do not qualify as Rollover Nights or as Qualifying Nights for any other purpose or benefit under the IHG One Rewards program.
- To be a “Qualifying Room Night” under the Promotion, the room night must fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay.
- For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) room night stay, during the Promotion Period, at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate that is at least a total spend of $30 dollars (or local currency equivalent) per night. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included.
- Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Offer.
- Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Offer.
- If more than one member who registered for the Offer checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn Bonus Elite Night Credits under this Offer based on those nights that qualify.
- If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will only receive credit towards this Offer for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of an Offer-Qualifying Room Night.
Quick Thoughts
IHG seems to run these targeted promos every year, and they can be useful even if you’re not interested in earning IHG status via elite night credits.
Those credits might still be of interest thanks to the Milestone Rewards feature that IHG launched a few years ago. Starting at 20 elite night credits, you can pick rewards for every 10 nights you stay, with benefits including bonus points, food & beverage credits, confirmable suite upgrade awards, and lounge access.
As a result, even if you haven’t stayed a single night with IHG this year but are targeted for this promotion, staying 10 nights by the end of September will earn you a total of 20 elite night credits – enough for 2x $20 food & beverage credits, 5,000 bonus points, or a confirmable suite upgrade.
Note that only paid nights costing $30+ before taxes and fees are eligible, so award nights and Points & Cash rates won’t earn the double elite night credits.

“through July 31, 2025″ means you have to check out 31 at the latest or can you book for July 31 and check out August 1?
Just to follow up, we just completed a simple 5-night stay June 27, 2025.
By early morning June 29, both the 5 nights and the 5 bonus nights had posted. Worked like clockwork. 🙂
