The United Shopping portal is back with an offer that can earn you 500 bonus MileagePlus miles.

Key Terms
- During the “Fall Bonus” offer, which runs from 10/4/21 through 10/10/21 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of 500 MileagePlus bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus Shopping mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.
- This one-time bonus award will be based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: Earn 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $200 or more.
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.

- Please allow up to 10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your MileagePlus Shopping account.
Quick Thoughts
500 bonus miles for spending $200 is far from the best airline shopping portal bonus we’ve ever seen as that’s only a 2.5x bonus if spending exactly $200. However, 2.5x bonus miles is still better than 0 bonus miles, especially if you’re shopping at a retailer where portals only offer 1% or 1x.
As always, compare portal rates on Cashback Monitor before making a purchase in case a different portal offers a better return even after taking into account the 500 bonus MileagePlus miles.
