Shopping portal Rakuten is featuring increased rates for Dell purchases today, with 10% / 10x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on laptops and desktops or 12% / 12x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on Accessories, Servers, and Monitors. If you have a card with semi-annual Dell credits, today could be a good day to make use of any remaining credits for the first half of 2024. Alternatively, there are numerous card-linked offers available for Dell that could stack nicely with increased payouts.

Quick Thoughts
Earning 12x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent could be a great return on any necessary purchases. Amex Business Platinum cardholders can get up to $200 back on purchases made between January and June and up to $2000 back on purchases made between July and December each year (enrollment required). This payout could stack nicely if you have credits to use before the end of June (also keep in mind that the “purchase date” for the purposes of Amex offers and Business Platinum cards is usually the day the item ships, so be sure to get those orders in well in advance of the last day of the month).

Love these when they show up! Be prepared to have to thumb wrestle to get the points though: at least half the time Dell will initially not grant me any points: they interpret their terms broadly yet inconsistently. Rakuten CSRs are usually pretty good at chasing them down.
same here… always a hassle to get points credited from Dell
typo on 2nd half of the year rebate – should be $200 not $2000. I wish!
