I’m just now reading this again before pulling the trigger. Two questions for Tim:
You say not to mess with this if you have had an account or have gotten the bonus. I have 2 US bank accounts 2+ YO – a money market and a business checking. I have not received bonuses on either (although one had a promo interest rate for the first year). As long as I am not using funds from those accounts – would I be excluded from this bonus? Second – you say to only keep the full $25K in account the 30 days but above in the description it says “You must make deposit(s) of at least $25,000 in new money within 30 days of account opening and thereafter maintain a daily balance of at least $25,000 until the 60th day after account opening.” I read that to be 30 plus whatever time it took to fund the full $30K and possibly until the bonus posts? Is that the correct interpretation?

How easy/difficult is it to close these accounts? Online? Phone? Or do you have to go into a branch etc?

ffi

Truist business money market gets 3% interest
on 25k that is 750 a yr = $125 for 2 months
This is a nice boost to that instead

No issues with closing account after receiving $1000 bonus so don’t have to pay any more monthly fees?

SamBam

Just not enough meat on the bone for this one. The CapOne $1500 bonus for savings is better. And you get interest.

Slaven

Share the details for that offer?

$1,500 tier does require $100,000. No cc funding.

Can you fund the $3k with Amex?

Nate

Best is to try it with a card that doesn’t have a cash advance feature.

Slaven

Like which?

Nate

Send me all of your credit card numbers and I’ll make a recommendation.
