There’s a new Walmart.com Amex Offer out that offers a 10% discount on up to $200 in purchases. Neither my wife nor I were both targeted on any of our twenty-seven Amex cards, so it may be tightly-targeted (or Amex/Walmart might not like us).

Usually, when Walmart runs these offers, there are several different variants of maximum spend and discount percentages, so let us know in the comments if you find one that’s different than what we have here. (h/t: GC Galore)

The Deal

  • Save 10% on up to $200 in purchases at Walmart.com with a targeted Amex Offer.
  • Other variations may exist.
  • These are targeted offers. Look for it under “Amex Offers” in your online account.
  • Expires 9/29/24

Key Terms

  • Offer valid online only at US website Walmart.com or through the Walmart mobile app.
  • Valid on Walmart pickup and delivery purchases made online at Walmart.com.
  • Excludes Walmart+ membership purchases.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US.
  • Excludes in-store purchases, bulk gift cards & e-gift cards, layaway purchases, insurance services, auto services, pharmacy, protection plans, home services, and recurring subscription services (for example, Beauty Box and Baby Box).
  • Excludes purchases made on third party and affiliate websites associated with walmart.com (such as, but not limited to, Walmart Contacts, Walmart Checks, Walmart Photo Services, Walmart Stationary, and Walmart Moneygram).
  • Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
  • Limit of $20 in total statement credits per Card Member.

Quick Thoughts

This is an easy one to take advantage of even though it’s only valid online. There’s not a ton of excluded products and you can reach the $20 max cash back in multiple transactions with no minimum purchase required.

The terms officially exclude gift cards, but in the past third-party gift cards would trigger the credit. YMMV.

No Walmart on five cards. 🙁

Pratik

I got this one on my new Hilton Surpass card. It is clearly labelled as a new card offer.

Sheng

Same. I got this, 10% back on ExxonMobile, 10% back on Gap. All labeled as “new card offer”. Also on a Surpass.
