Wyndham Rewards launched a subscription service a couple of months ago called Insider. Due to the cost of the subscription and its laughably unrewarding benefits (particularly the bonus points you’d earn), it’s a complete waste of money for the vast majority of people.
It seems like the enthusiasm Wyndham received from its members might’ve been lacking because Wyndham is now literally giving the subscription away for free, albeit only for a couple of months.

Quick Thoughts
When Wyndham launched its Insider program, they offered 14 months for the price of 12. After receiving an email from Wyndham about this two month free membership, I initially assumed that it was referring to the two months free you get when subscribing for a year, but it’s actually separate from that.
Using promo code INSIDERHOLIDAY25 will instead get you two months of an Insider subscription free, provided you register by December 15. Despite the Insider program offering very little value, my biggest issue with it is the fee charged for the minimal benefits. If you can get those benefits for free for a couple of months, you might as well sign up if you’ll be staying with Wyndham during that time or, perhaps, if you’re planning on buying tickets from Ticketmaster.
Wyndham, to its credit, has set up this promotion in a surprisingly customer-friendly way. Many companies would give you two months free and then renew your membership unless you proactively cancelled. Based on the terms of the promotion, Wyndham isn’t doing that. Instead, your membership will lapse after 60 days and you’ll have to sign up for a full membership if you want to maintain the benefits.
