There is new targeted Amex Offer out today that I’ve seen on some business cards that is good for 10% back on purchases at Lowe’s (up to $50 back. Update: Some people have this offer good for up to $100 back as seen below). This will surely be a popular offer.

Quick Thoughts
This should be an easy win for most people since Lowe’s likely carries something you need and on which you’d be happy to save 10%. In the past, I’ve used similar offers to buy gift cards at Lowe’s. Amex is obviously a bit clawback-happy these days and might decide to claw back statement credits if you make purchases that they don’t deem as being eligible, though the terms here do not exclude physical gift cards bought in-store so I would think they should be safe.
Update: As reported by readers below, some have been targeted with the same offer but a maximum of $100 back. That’s obviously fantastic if you have it.

Thanks for the tip. While I was adding this offer to my BBP, I saw an offer to get a Biz Platinum with 100,000 points and a bunch of temporary 5x categories. I haven’t seen any mention of this year in the blogosphere, maybe I missed something.
