Quick Thoughts
Note that Retailmenot is a shopping portal like most others in that you click through Retailmenot and ultimately book directly with the chain. You can therefore expect full elite credit / benefits / hotel points and that your stay will qualify for any promotions.
The one thing that’s kind of unique about Retailmenot is that it is very common for them to cap earnings at $50. I bought a new washing machine last week and clicked through Retailmenot to the retailer knowing that I wouldn’t quite get the full percentage back being advertised since earnings were capped at $50, but it was still the best deal in the scenario. In these cases, you’ll want to consider that if you have a particularly expensive booking to make.
However, if you can take advantage of a full 10% back or 12% back, this can be a great deal. I was just looking at booking a mattress run for my wife to get to Marriott Platinum status and the extra 10% here will tip the scales to doing that.

Should’ve clarified… the Marriott offer is “no longer available “.
Does it work on corporate rates?
