Hilton has slowly but surely been partnering with more Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) properties, meaning that they’re bookable through the Hilton Honors program. As a result, you can book paid stays to earn points, or redeem points or free night certificates.
It seems like every month or two they add another dozen or so more properties and this month is no exception as there are 10 more SLH locations you can now book via Hilton. That includes hotels in three countries where the Hilton/SLH partnership previously had no presence.

Here’s a list of the new-to-Hilton properties, along with links to them on Hilton’s website to make it easier to check them out:
- Malliouhana Resort, Anguilla
- Hotel Schloss Seefels, Austria
- HUANG YAN 36 Hotel, China
- Senda Monteverde Hotel, Costa Rica
- Bolontiku Boutique Hotel and Spa, Guatemala
- Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel, Italy
- Le Calette N5, Italy
- Villa di Piazzano, Italy
- Bethlen Estates Transylvania, Romania
- Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, Spain
The Hilton/SLH partnership previously didn’t have any hotels in Anguilla, Guatemala and Romania, so it’s great to see them expanding into even more locations worldwide.
The Bethlen Estates Transylvania in Romania looks interesting as it’s within centuries-old restored accommodation. However, at 120,000 points per night, it’s not particularly good value considering room rates on the dates I checked were only ~$400 per night. There’s also a DoubleTree nearby costing only 20,000. There’s obviously going to be a big difference between the two, but I think I’d find it hard to drop an additional 100,000 points per night on this hotel.
The Hotel Schloss Seefels in Austria looks like a stunning property on Wörthersee (Lake Wörth) near its southern border with Slovenia. This hotel also costs 120,000 points per night for award stays, but room rates are closer to ~$500+ and so it represents better value on a cents per point basis.

One of the most expensive of the new properties is Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay on the Balearic Island of Ibiza off the coast of Spain. It’s not cheap at 150,000 points per night, but its cash rates aren’t cheap at $750+ per night either. Deluxe rooms – the base room type at the hotel – each come with a terrace, a rainfall shower, a separate dressing area and more, not to mention its stunning location on the coast of the Balearic Sea.

Another of the properties that currently charges the maximum 150,000 points per night is Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla. One of the great things about this hotel is that there’s more than one room type bookable with points, giving you a better chance of finding award availability. In addition to the Garden View Deluxe King, you can also book an Ocean View Deluxe King for the same 150,000 points which would be preferable for most people. Room rates cost ~$1,000+, so that represents great value for your points.

Do any of these properties catch your eye, or have you stayed at any of them in the past – perhaps when SLH partnered with Hyatt? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Hang Yan in China is awesome, it is my go to place when in country.

I booked the Anguilla resort Malliouhana a few days ago and I’m super excited to try this property.
It looks awesome, I’m gonna jump on this one too
I thought that we had stayed in Villa di Piazzano over 25 years ago, when we were in Cortona — but then I realized that it looked familiar because we would pass by it every day and think how nice it looked!
If you have any Hilton certificates, this is a good excuse to go back!
