A new Amex Offer out today is good for $100 back on $500 or more at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR properties. This could make for a nice stack with the current Hilton Impresario benefits, including a $200 resort credit.
The Deal
- A new Amex Offer is out that’s good for $100 back when you spend $500 or more at Waldorf, Conrad, or LXR Hotels & Resorts in the US and US Territories by 12/31/21 (enrollment required)
Key Terms
- Valid on reservations made directly with the participating chains or bvia the Hilton Honors app or calling Hilton
- Excludes all other Hilton brands
- Only valid at properties in the US & US Territories
Quick Thoughts
This one has the geographic restriction buried near the end of the terms so it is worth highlighting the fact that this offer is valid only at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts in the US and US Territories, so keep that part in mind.
Still, this could make for an excellent stack with one of two things:
- The Hilton Aspire annual $250 resort credit (if you choose a qualifying “resort” property). Note that I did not find this offer on the Aspire card unfortunately.
- Hilton Impresario benefits.
To the second point, I assume that Hilton Impresario would still trigger the credit even though you need to book through an Impresario agent since you’ll actually be paying for your stay directly at the hotel. Hilton Impresario is offering increased benefits through the end of 2021 (see: Hilton Impresario “Twice the Perks” at select properties through 12/31/21). As you’ll see in that post, a 2-night stay at a Waldorf, Conrad, or LXR property would come with a $200 resort credit plus double points, daily breakfast for two, and a guaranteed upgrade at booking. If you were able to find a 2-night stay at a participating brand for about $500 (which isn’t impossible at some of the US properties), you would be looking at paying a net $400 and getting two nights, breakfast for 2 each morning, and a $200 resort credit. That’s an awesome deal. If your hotel is a qualifying resort and costs a bit more, split tender at checkout and make use of Hilton resort credit from the Aspire card also.
I am still sitting on a lot of free night certificates that have to be used this year (and Platinum card FHR credits), otherwise I would be working on booking something now to take advantage of what could be a great deal. Keep in mind that Hilton Impresario bookings have to be done through an Impresario agent and I guess there is some possibility that Amex will find a way to exclude them, though I doubt it. Also keep in mind that advance purchase rates typically do not trigger Amex Offers with Hilton since Hilton runs those charges differently. More about Hilton Impresario bookings here.
Offer is now on Amex Connect. I was able to add the offer to my Aspire card for all the stacking you mentioned.

What’s the best way to search for this offer among the 100+ offers on each of my AMEX cards?
Nick, what’s the best way to search for this offer among the 100+ offers on each of my AMEX cards?
Ctrl+F on your keyboard and then put in the world “Waldorf” to find all the places on your page where the word Waldorf shows up?
I actually don’t find it that hard to scroll the page and find the offer I’m looking for, but I use the Ctrl F method when I’m in a hurry I guess.
Got it Nick, thx…
Which Amex cards? None of mine have this offer.
It’s targeted, unfortunately.
I saw this on all of our cards except for the Aspire.
Ditto. Platinum and Gold yes, Aspire no.
Can’t Stephen summon up a link to add it to our aspire cards? I know he’s traveling the US to practice his points and miles dark arts.
