Costco is offering a $100 Xbox gift card for $79.99. Considering the fact that Xbox gift cards can be used at the Microsoft Store, this could make for a great deal. If you have the Point Debit Card, it gets even better since Point Card is currently offering 10% back in points at Costco (note that offer excludes gift cards, so YMMV).

Key Terms
- Max of 2 per member
- Valid through 12/20/21
Quick Thoughts
We have previously noted the fact that Xbox gift cards can be applied not just to video games but also to anything sold by the Microsoft Store. That can be particularly useful to those with credits for Dell.com since Dell sells Xbox Gift Cards. If you recently stocked up on some of those but need some more to complete your Microsoft purchase, this Costco sale can be pretty appealing.
Truthfully, 20% off basically anything at the Microsoft Store could be pretty good, but note the limit of 2 per member, so you won’t get too far with this discount. Still, stack an extra 2% back with an Executive membership and this deal looks solid. If you also have the Point card, this could potentially get even better. Note that the terms on the Point card offer exclude both physical and electronic gift cards. I don’t know whether that has been enforced at Costco, but it has varied at other stores.

Point card only in store?
No, definitely online, too. Had it in mind then something pulled my attention away and when I came back to finish up the post it was out of mind again. Just updated. Note that Point terms exclude gift card purchases, but YMMV. I’ve been successful with some retailers.
