There is a new Chase Offer out today good for 15% back at Marriott Bonvoy properties (up to $85 back on $566.67. While not quite a high a percentage as what we’ve seen from Amex in recent years, the higher maximum cap and applicability across all Marriott brands should make this offer pretty useful for many readers.
The Deal
- A new Chase Offer is out that’s good for 15% back at all Marriott Bonvoy properties up to $85 back.
Key Terms
- Expires 9/6/22
- Valid one time only
- Valid at all Marriott Bonvoy brands
Quick Thoughts
Note the short expiration here, though keep in mind that we often see Chase Offers get extended, so maybe this will go beyond 9/6 for some.
Keep in mind that only the first charge triggers most Chase offers, so I think it is probably best not to use the card loaded with the offer at check-in (when they may preauthorize a lesser amount) but rather at check-out. Alternatively, gift cards purchased at the front desk have historically triggered offers like this. The challenge with that can be finding a property that actually sells gift cards and then finding an employee who knows how to sell them, but you should be able to call around to properties nearby to see if they sell gift cards before heading out. Marriott gift cards work across brands, so if you buy a gift card at a Courtyard you should have no trouble using it at a Westin or Ritz or any other Marriott brand despite the branding on the front of the gift card.
It’s nice to see this offer targeted at all Marriott Bonvoy properties. Notable here is that I expect this offer would work worldwide, whereas many Amex Offers for Marriott are limited to properties in the US/Mexico/Caribbean.

Did this just pop up on offers? I hope it shows up on my card soon. I have a week stay at a Marriott property next week. 🙂
My Ink Preferred has 10% back with a $50 maximum; nothing on any of my other cards.
