Quick Thoughts
This is a nice deal since you’re making five bucks per card and stacking that with a card that earns one of the Best Category Bonuses at the grocery store no doubt.
Keep in mind that these “Everywhere” Visas do not work everywhere. Make sure you do some expirments to see where they work — they don’t always work where you’d expect and they sometimes work in places you might not otherwise expect. I haven’t played with all of these, though they do come with a PIN (the last 4 digits) and will sometimes work in places where you can liquidate them.
If you live in the area served by one of these stores, this one is definitely work loading to all of your accounts.
H/T: Miles to Memories
No these are different than the load up to $500 Visa gift cards……..they only work on the new $100 max Visa GC that Safeway has……..however I was able to get a nice manager to override the offer and give me and my wife $10 off a $500 Visa card…………
I don’t really understand. Are these visa gift cards, or are they restaurant, movie, etc gift cards?
So when are we going to see AMEX GC deals?
Most people don’t prefer Amex GCs because they can’t be used as debit.
AMEX gift cards not counted as debit paying your taxes? Not what I read on Doctor of Credit?
When buying 100 or more. Not 200 or more
Whoops — thanks. I edited it. You’ll obviously want to buy $200 to maximize rewards, but you’re right that you only need to buy $100 or more.
