Through December 21, 2015, Aeroplan is offering up to 40,000 bonus miles when you convert points from one of their partners into their program. Unfortunately American Express Membership Rewards transfers are excluded.
Bonus Tiers
The bonus is cumulative, meaning you can transfer points in from various programs and earn the bonus. One of the more popular transfer partners that is eligible for this promotion is SPG. Normally 20,000 Starpoints transfer to 25,000 Aeroplan Miles, but with this promotion 20,000 Starpoints would equal 29,000 Aeroplan Miles and 40,000 Starpoints would equal 60,000 Aeroplan Miles.

Anyone know how long it NORMALLY takes for BONUS miles to post? Given that devaluation will happen on 12/15, I will need the bonus miles besides the transferred miles to book pre-devalued awards.
I participated in a similar bonus this summer. On August 12 the points transferred in from SPG posted to my Aeroplan account. Then the additional bonus miles posted on August 17.
