The Swych app is offering two promotions this weekend on Lowe’s Gift Cards that will either give you the chance to save $15 on a $115 gift card or get a free $20 Best Buy GC with a $200 Lowe’s gift card. Best of all, Swych purchases have been known to code at 5x when purchased with the Ink Cash card and paying through PayPal (or the no longer available Ink Plus). If you have the Chase Freedom, you could also earn 5x with that card if you haven’t yet maxed out this quarter’s 5x categories (which include PayPal).

Quick Thoughts
Both of these are good deals, especially when paired with 5x on an Ink Cash or Chase Freedom when paying through PayPal (provided you haven’t yet reached this quarter’s cap on the Freedom 5x categories). Note that I initially found the $15 off of $115 promo confusing: I was trying to buy a $115 Lowe’s eGC and add the coupon code — that wouldn’t work. It kept telling me the gift card amount was invalid for the promo code. I eventually realized that I add to input $100 for the value of the Lowe’s eGC. Then, when I applied the coupon code, it went up to a $115 value for $100.
The Best Buy promotion works the same way. Simply select a $200 Lowe’s GC and enter the coupon code and you should see a pop-up confirming the promotion:
If you have any summertime home improvement projects lined up, earning 5x and scoring a discount certainly seems like a nice combo.
