A targeted offer recently appeared that may be of interest if you’re booking travel via the Chase Travel Portal: a new Chase Offer is out that is good for $50 back on $500 or more. The nice thing is that this should work with any type of travel booked via Chase Travel — whether flights, hotels, car rentals or activities — so long as you pay with cash rather than with points.

Quick Thoughts
I don’t ordinarily consider booking travel through the Chase Portal. That said, this could work out to be a decent deal, particularly for flights since it is otherwise tough to score a discount on the cash price of airline tickets. On the other hand, keep in mind the potential hassles of booking airfare through the Chase portal (take my recent experience booking Southwest through Chase as Exhibit A).
Interestingly, I found this offer on my Chase Freedom Unlimited, which isn’t the card I would ordinarily use to book travel given the much better travel protections on other cards. I don’t know whether Chase is specifically targeting this to cards without its best-in-class travel protections, but it’s worth checking your offers to see if you have it available if you book through the portal.

Mine showed up on my CSR, but not either of my freedom or unlimited cards.
Rndom comment but interesting that chase didn’t move their own affiliate offer to the top of the list the way Amex does. Had to scroll past a dozen offers to find it.
Shows up on my CSP and at least one of the Freedom cards between myself and P2. Could stack nicely with the $50 CSP hotel credit if I can find something I want to book before year end.
