I Prefer is offering double points on stays when you register and then complete your stay between 2/3/25 and 4/30/25. While the additional 10 points per dollar spent still isn’t huge, I always think it’s worth registering for these promotions in case an unexpected stay comes up.
The Deal
- I Prefer is offering double points for a total of 20 points per dollar spent on rooms when you register and stay between 2/3/25 and 4/30/25. Note that this is any elite bonuses only apply to the 10 base points per dollar, not the bonus points.

Quick Thoughts
We’ve found I Prefer points to be worth about 0.5c per point (see this post for more detail), so the additional 10 points per dollar you’ll earn through this promotion is an incremental 5% back. That’s certainly nice to get if you’d stay at an I Prefer hotel anyway, but it’s likely not enough to move the needle in choosing to change your stay to an I Prefer property.
That said, I like to register for these promotions just in case I end up with a qualifying stay. I don’t currently have any plans to stay at an I Prefer property during the promotion window, but I like to register for these in case a flight gets cancelled or I need to travel unexpectedly so that I can get the maximum benefit if I end up with a stay that was otherwise unplanned.
