Quick Thoughts
Note that neither of these promotions will have much use for people traveling domestically as it looks like only one hotel in the US – Fairmont Breakers Long Beach – is eligible for the 4x promo, while the 2x/3x promo is only valid in Europe and select North African and Asian countries.
For anyone traveling overseas though, earning 2x, 3x or 4x on a paid Accor stay could make for a nicely rewarding stay. It might even be possible to stack the two promotions. For example, let’s say you book a stay at the Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. That’s one of the new properties at which you can earn 4x points. Italy is also one of the countries eligible for the other promo, so booking a 3-4 or 5+ night stay will hopefully also be eligible for earning 2x or 3x respectively too. If those promos do indeed stack, I’m assuming you’d earn a total of 5x or 6x points:
- 1x base points
- 3x bonus points from the 4x promo
- 1x or 2x bonus points from the 2x/3x promo
Just be sure to register for the promo before making a reservation. Also note that although the promos are valid on stays several months into the future, you only have until April 27 or May 11 to actually book those stays.
