Hilton promo giving 1,000 bonus points per stay (not per night)

Hilton has opened registration for a promotion that’ll run from the beginning of June through mid-August. Unfortunately it’s barely worth the effort of registering seeing as you’ll only earn 1,000 bonus points per stay.

• Offer valid for stays completed June 1 – August 15, 2025 (“promotion period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/PointsPlus prior to completing a stay within the promotion period.
• Registered Hilton Honors members will earn 1,000 Bonus Points per stay during the promotion period.
• Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before June 1, 2025, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after June 1, 2025, and prior to or on August 15, 2025.
• There is no limit to the total number of Bonus Points that may be earned during the promotion period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the number of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.
• Bonus Points do not count toward elite tier qualification.
• Please allow six to eight weeks from completion of your stay for Bonus Points to appear in your account.
• A ‘stay’ is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again.
• Offer is not valid for groups and cannot be combined with other select offers.

Quick Thoughts

This is an incredibly poor promotion from Hilton seeing as the 1,000 bonus points are earned per stay rather than per night. Hilton frequently sells its points for 0.5 cents per point, so 1,000 points can often be bought for only $5. You could book a week-long stay at a luxury property and spend thousands of dollars, but only earn $5 worth of bonus points from this promotion.

On the (slight) plus side, this promo is valid on both paid stays and award stays. Getting 1,000 bonus points back on an award stay isn’t incredible, but it is more than you’ll get back on award stays at most other hotel chains.
