United Mileage Plus Shopping Back to School Bonus
The Deal
- Spend $150 or more, earn 500 bonus miles

- During the “Back-to-School Bonus” offer, which runs from 7/14/2025 through 8/11/2025 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,500 MileagePlus® bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus ShoppingSM mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.

Bottom line
I always try to keep these bonuses in mind when doing the math to compare shopping portal payouts. Keep in mind that we typically see many portals offer back to school bonuses over the next month, so it is worth keeping your eye on all of your favorite portals for other similar bonuses that may come out over the coming weeks.
