Iberia runs numerous award sales throughout the year (like this one back in September). It now has another one that runs through December 2nd for travel through March 25th, 2026.
Like most Iberia sales, it’s only for Iberia’s own flights, and awards are up to 30%/60%, depending on departure city and class. Economy flights between the US and Spain start at 6,400 one-way, premium economy at 20,650, and business at 28,350.
This sale might be a bit more noteworthy than usual, since Bilt has a one-day transfer bonus to Iberia (and other Avios programs) on December 1st, and there are a lot more Bilt points available due to the recently added ability to earn them through Rakuten.
The lowest bonus will be 50%, so even those with no Bilt status would be able to get to Europe for ~4,300 Bilt points.

Quick Thoughts
The combination of Bilt’s coming transfer bonus and this fair sale can make for some pretty good values. Flying to Spain from the East Coast in economy starts at ~4,300 Bilt points if flying from the East Coast, while business can be had for as low as 18,900 Avios one-way. Taxes run ~$90-$120 in economy (depending on cities and direction of travel), or $125-$290 in business. That’s a stellar deal.
Of course, travel dates are squarely within Spain’s winter, which can be surprisingly chilly and rainy (think highs in the 50s). Still, smaller crowds and lower prices can make cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville delightful places to while away a few days.

Zero business class availability from LAX. Several days in economy for ~100 Euros + 8K.
Has anyone found a way to make the Iberia web site behave?
I’ve heard not so good things about it. I plan to take advantage of the 50% Bilt day bonus and transfer to Iberia but I sure hope they clean up their website before I use them. Good luck to you and I hope someone chimes in here to help us both out.
A Spanish Iberia customer service rep. once replied to me, in perfect English, “Our web site sucks”.
Oh boy, not too comforting is it?
