Quick Thoughts
Getting 100% off base fares might make it sound like you’re getting free travel, but that’s not the case. And as would be expected with an ultra low cost carrier like Frontier, there’s a lot in the terms and conditions to be aware of.
First off, the 100% discount is on base fares which means you still have to pay associated taxes and fees. I ran a couple of searches and didn’t find eligible routes/dates, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Frontier has some kind of unavoidable junk fees that are separated out from the base fare.
The 100% discount is only available for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday; a lower 50% discount is available for travel on Monday and Thursday, with no discount for Friday and Sunday travel. There are several blackout dates too which further reduces the eligible travel dates.
Your 50% discount or 100% discount will presumably only book you into a basic fare type. That includes a personal item, but no carry-on or checked bags, no seat selection, etc. You’d therefore need to pay extra for an economy, premium, or business bundle to have some or all of those items included.
This sale could therefore be great for someone who has extreme flexibility with their travel dates and desired destinations. For everyone else, temper your expectations but hopefully you have some luck finding good savings.

Thanks!
I tested out the discount on a nonstop, and I swear it took me almost as long to get to Frontier’s checkout screen with all the potential add ons (and to find the field for the promo code) as the duration of the two hour flight!
Anyway, round trip fare fell from $53 to $38 with the the promo code, since Frontier has its share of junk fees. It’s still an amazingly cheap fare, but United is charging $70 for the same routing (forced to be competitive with Frontier) without all the hassle.
