Quick Thoughts
The chance to save 10% on a flight is always welcome, especially for anyone who was already eyeing a Frontier flight. Keep in mind that Frontier is a low-cost carrier, so be prepared to pay separately for your carry-on, seat selection, and checked bags. However, for those traveling light, this could work out well.
Remember that, unlike Amex Offers, Chase allows you to redeem the same offer on multiple cards. Although this offer is one-time use, if you have multiple targeted cards, you can use it several times. 80% of my wife’s and my cards are targeted, so it seems like they’re casting a wide net.

Really tough to fly Frontier without status as they seem to generally charge more than $50 for a carry on. And then you get a cramped seat, a greater chance of an operational delay, and inferior service all around. That said, if you can get Gold status or higher through a status match or credit card, the ability to buy super cheap fares and get the necessities (bags, seats, etc.) for free can make it a reasonable proposition for unfussy travellers who need transportation in Frontier’s nonstop markets.
