Minor League Baseball experiences bookable from only 2,500 Wyndham points

1

Wyndham Rewards is the hotel sponsor of Minor League Baseball (MiLB). As a result, every year Wyndham offers all kinds of MiLB experiences that are bookable with points.

With the MiLB season starting in a few weeks, there’s a large new batch of experiences that are bookable for only 2,500, 5,000, or 5,500 Wyndham Rewards points. Some of these could prove to be very good value, plus some of the packages give you and/or your kids an opportunity to have a unique experience like throwing the ceremonial first pitch, having a team meet-and-greet, and more.

You’ll want to jump on this if you’re interested as some of the packages have already sold out.

Quick Thoughts

The lowest priced packages only cost 2,500 points and that gets you two tickets. There are many different games available for select teams, so it’s worth checking the listings because some games have theme nights like a Bobblehead of one of the players for those attending the game.

However, it’s the 5,000 and 5,500 point listings that have the potential to offer tremendous value. For example, this game for Frisco RoughRiders vs San Antonio Missions includes the following for only 5,000 points:

  • Two Founders Club tickets
  • One parking pass
  • Access to the 2nd level Founders Club
  • Table reservations available
  • All you can eat dinner & dessert buffet
  • Unlimited beverages (Water, tea, fountain soda)
  • Unlimited Beer & Wine bar
  • Access to Members Express concession on main concourse
  • Unlimited ballpark favorites (Burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, etc.)
  • Unlimited soft drinks and water
  • Unlimited Beer & Wine
  • Early entry – 1.5 hours to first pitch

Wyndham frequently sells its points for ~0.7 cents per point. If you were to have bought 5,000 points during one of those sales, you’d have paid ~$35. Paying the equivalent of $35 for two Minor League Baseball tickets, a parking pass, an all you can eat buffet for two people, unlimited soft and adult drinks for two people, and more is an incredible deal.

Packages for 5,500 points tend to include two tickets, as well as other unique experiences like throwing the ceremonial first pitch, having a meet-and-greet with the team, getting a tour of the stadium before the game, and more.

There are some 5,500 point packages that include even more stuff. For example, this game between Indianapolis Indians and St. Paul includes the following:

  • Custom jersey
  • Ceremonial first pitch
  • Meet-and-greet with Rowdie and Crew
  • Four (4) premium tickets
  • One (1) parking pass
  • One (1) Victory Field gift card

It’s not clear how much the gift card is for, but even without that you’re getting superb value for 5,500 points given it includes four premium tickets, throwing the first pitch, a custom jersey, a parking pass, and the meet-and-greet.

These packages are selling quickly, so book ASAP as I doubt they’ll last much longer.

Thanks Stephen!

Was looking for Kannapolis NC Cannonballers (great team and park!), but it looks like all minor league packages are sold out.
