Southwest is running another sale, this time giving up to a 40% discount off base fares when using promo code FLOWERS.

As always with these promotions, the promo code works on both cash fares and award bookings with Rapid Rewards points.

• Discount availability may vary by destination, flight, and day of the week, and won’t be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
• Discount is valid on new reservations only.
• Discount will apply only for select flights booked within the Booking Period, while supplies last, for travel flown within the Travel Period.
• Changes made to the itinerary after purchase will eliminate qualification for this promotion and will result in forfeiture of any promotion code savings.

Quick Thoughts

As you can see in the terms above, promo code FLOWERS is only valid on certain days and dates. Even when you’re searching for eligible dates, there’s no guarantee that it’ll be valid for every flight on any given route.

If there is at least one discounted flight for your search, you’ll see a green box at the top of the page stating ‘Score! Promo code FLOWERS has been applied.’ In the search results, you’ll see the original pricing struck through, with the discounted pricing displayed in green.

If the promo code works on a cash fare, it’ll also work on flights booked with Rapid Rewards points.

If you already have Southwest flights booked during the eligible travel period, it’s worth repricing your bookings to see if promo code FLOWERS will save you any money or points.
