Quick Thoughts
With only a $100 spending requirement, this shopping portal promo will be fairly easy to max out. Something that’ll make it even easier is that in addition to online purchases, the Alaska portal has a card-linked in-store offer program. You can therefore spend $100 in-store at eligible retailers to also hit the spending threshold, or have a mix of in-store and online spend.

What is the mystery here?
If I spend $100 on ebay linked through the Alaska portal, will I get the 500 mile bonus?
Yes, there’s nothing mystery about it – I’ve not idea why they keep labeling these airline portal promos as mystery bonuses as I don’t think they’ve been targeted for years (if they ever even were).
Having said that, it won’t work to click through to eBay as I don’t think that’s on the Alaska portal. Any other $100 purchase would work though.
Thanks.
eBay shows up on the Alaska (and UA/AA) portals when you search for it as a store and the click through does take you to eBay.
That’s so weird. I’d searched for eBay in the search box and it didn’t display there in the dropdown list, but you’re right that it is on the portal when doing a full search for it.
