Quick Thoughts
10x Reward Points is a really nice return as those can be redeemed to save up to 25% on gas or up to 14.29% on groceries (7 Reward Points can be redeemed for $10 off groceries).
Several of these brands can be used at JCPenney and Bed Bath & Beyond, both of which have third party gift card racks. While MetaBank updated the terms earlier this year to exclude third party gift card purchases using Happy gift cards, in reality you can still do that provided you don’t have a cashier who refuses. This can therefore be a way to save up to 25% on many gift card brands, including Visa gift cards at Bed Bath & Beyond.
All nine of these coupons are unlimited use, so you can buy as many as you like over the course of the next week which is particularly helpful for the gift card resellers out there.
The prices at Vons Gas are way too high to make this a good deal anymore. The actual rebate is worth about 12% on gas due to the overpriced gas vs. the cheapest option within 10 miles. It is laughable to count this as 25% rebate on gas.
That’ll be location-specific. The Safeways I was near last month had gas prices that were comparable to other gas stations in the area, so in that case it was worth 25% off.
I think the gas reward expire at the end of January so don’t go crazy if that is going to be your sole usage:-)
