Stores that use the Just For U program – Albertsons, Safeway, Shaw’s, Tom Thumb and more – have a number of new digital coupons available today. These are offering 8x or 10x Reward Points when buying select gift cards but it gets even better than that.
Several of the eligible gift card brands are for restaurants and dining and it’s been confirmed that they stack with the 15x digital coupon from the other day. You’ll have to be quick to take advantage of this though as the 15x coupon expires today (November 17).

Quick Thoughts
As mentioned above, Nick wrote about the 15x digital coupon for restaurant and dining gift cards the other day. I tested it out to see if it would work on Happy Holidays and Happy Guy gift cards seeing as those cards can be used at some restaurants. Unfortunately those specific brands didn’t earn 15x Reward Points, but a reader on that post confirmed that it did work for the Happy Eats card, presumably because that’s a restaurant-only gift card.
These new digital coupons for 8x and 10x have therefore come at an interesting time as they overlap by a day. I covered this deal on GC Galore when the coupons went live overnight and speculated that it might be possible to stack cards like Domino’s, Happy Eats, Happy Dining, etc. with the 15x digital coupon to earn 23x 21x (or 25x 23x on Domino’s gift cards).
Well, a reader has since reached out to me to confirm that they do indeed stack. 25x 23x Reward Points can save you up to 62.5% 57.5% on gas, so that’s an incredible deal. The 15x coupon ends today (November 17), though, so you’ll have to take a trip to your local store today if you want to take advantage of this opportunity.
Update: The reader has since advised he earned 21x rather than 23x for a Happy Dining card. Seeing as you normally earn 2x on these cards, it looks like the 15x coupon is effectively 13x bonus points and the 8x coupon is a bonus 6 points, so 2 + 13 + 6 = 21.
Before buying a ton of gift cards, I’d do a small test purchase first just to make sure your local store is coding the cards in the same way and offering the stacking opportunity. Happy gift cards can be loaded with $20, so if you load a card with that much, the receipt should show that you earn 460 420 Reward Points. Update 2: The Happy cards have a minimum load requirement of $50, to earn the 8x – thanks to Bluecat in the comments below for highlighting that.
A $20 Domino’s gift card would earn 500 460 Reward Points due to the slightly higher 10x rate.
Just be sure to remember to load all the digital coupons you want to use before checking out.
