USPS Movers Coupon

As you can see, to get the price down to $72, James used the USPS Mover’s discount — which is taking 10% off of the original price of $179.99 after the current half price deal at $90.

As a reminder, it’s possible to change your address for a temporary move of a minimum of 15 days if your house is undergoing a renovation or you’ll be out of town for a bit. See this post for more on that.

James even provided us with a screen shot of the deal in action. See below:

Amazon Gift Cards through MPX

If you haven’t pre-purchased Amazon Gift Cards from an office supply store or PayPal Digital Gifts for 5X, remember that you can buy Amazon gift cards through the Mileage Plus X app for 0.5 United Miles per dollar with instant delivery (in increments of $25, $50, $100, etc). United MileagePlus Explorer cardholders receive a 25% bonus for a total of 0.625 miles per dollar. However, using gift cards will prevent you from being able to take advantage of things like extended warranty and loss/damage/theft protection from your credit card. Weigh the pros and cons before using gift cards.

Bottom Line

There are sure to be some quick deals over the next 24 hours — but this deal on the Echo is about as good as it gets. I bought an Echo for my parents when they first launched and they have really enjoyed it for the most part (and fewer of these moments than you’d think :-). I think they’ve found it most useful for synching a grocery list to their phones — and if one of them is at the store and the other at home, it’s easy to instantly add something to the list without even a phone call. It’s a niche product for sure, but at this price many people might find it worth it for some of the Alexa offers alone.
