These new promotions are on top of the things AA has already done to make achieving elite status easier in 2021:
- Roll over of elite earnings from Q4 2020 (Oct-Dec 2020)
- Reduced elite requirements by about 20%
- Earn an Elite Qualifying Dollars (EQDs) Waiver, up to Platinum Pro status, with $30K spend on qualifying AA cards.
Full details of AA’s reduced elite requirements can be found here: American Airlines Reducing Status Earning Requirements For 2021.
Does this work with partner flights? Example BA flight using your AA number?
I think so, but I don’t have AA elite status so I can’t easily check the terms. Hopefully you can find that answer in the terms when enrolling in these offers?
