American Express has released a new offer giving $5 back with a $25 or more purchase at participating restaurants during NYC Restaurant Week. During restaurant week, 3 course meals cost $25 for lunch and $38 for dinner.
Since this deal works for any type of spending (online excluded) at participating restaurants through 3/6/15, you should still receive the credit when purchasing gift cards. This amounts to a 20% discount if you buy gift cards in $25 increments.
All American Express cards are eligible for this promotion with the exception of corporate cards and prepaid products (excluding Serve).
