American Express launched the Platinum card back in 1984. They’re therefore celebrating its 40th birthday this year and as part of that there’s a bunch of new Amex Offers that can only be found on personal Amex Platinum cards.
The Deals & Key Terms

- Spend $180 at Hilton & get $40 back – expires 7/31/24
- Spend $200 with JetBlue & get $50 back – expires 8/6/24
- Spend $180 on Delta flights via Amex Travel & get $40 back – expires 7/5/24
- Spend $150 at Hertz & get $40 back – expires 6/30/24

Would booking delta via amex travel trigger the 200$ airline credit in any way?

Can you stack the $200 FHR credit w/ Hilton get $40 back?
Yes and no. When making the initial reservation through FHR, that won’t work as the prepayment is processed by Amex. However, if you use that card when checking in for your stay (assuming it’s before July 31) and charge $180+ to your room for food, spa services, etc., you would get the $40 statement credit.
Along those lines can I get the FHR benefits merely by holding a platinum card but charge the prepayment to the Hilton Aspire? I’ve already used the $200 benefit.
I’m at a Hilton now and the one card with the $40 offer is the one that’s not with me!!
FHR happened to offer a better deal by far that Hilton on my stay at a Conrad plus better breakfast benefit than Diamond
Wonder if buying Hilton gift card works for Hilton deal?
I know Hilton gift card purchases code on Hilton branded Amex card as Hilton even though it shows as Hilton RBG. It did give me 12x which would typically only be On a purchase at Hilton.
Not sure if the platinum card would code the same
