ANA Amex Offer: Spend $2,500 & earn 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards

If you’ll be booking any flights with All Nippon Airways (ANA) before the end of the year, there’s a great new Amex Offer that you’ve hopefully been targeted for as it’s offering 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards when spending $2,500.

The Deal

  • Earn 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards when spending $2,500+ with All Nippon Airways (ANA) in one or more flight purchases.

Key Terms

  • Expires December 31, 2025.
  • Offer valid only on flights booked directly with All Nippon Airways online at US website fly-ana.com, through the All Nippon Airways US mobile app, or by calling the US reservation phone line at 1-800-235-9262.
  • Flights must originate in the US and be charged in US dollars in order to qualify for the offer.
  • Excludes the following: (i) in-flight purchases of WiFi, entertainment, or phone service, (ii) standalone hotel bookings and car rentals, (iii) purchases through affiliated agents, (iv) code share flights or ANA flights operated by partner airlines, (v) duty free shopping and orders, (vi) travel insurance/trip protection, Mobile Rental Service, and Bid My Price.
  • Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Quick Thoughts

Earning 30,000 Membership Rewards is a good return on $2,500 of spend, especially if you have the offer on an American Express Platinum Card®. That’s because you’ll also earn 5x Membership Rewards on the purchase, so if you were to spend exactly $2,500, you’d end up with a total of 42,500 Membership Rewards.

Note that flights have to originate in the US, so this won’t work for, say, one-way flights from Asia back to the US. This will presumably work when booking award flights though if you end up having to pay taxes/fees of $2,500+.

Can’t say enough great things about ANA’s “The Room” Business Class on their 777. Got to experience it earlier this year on JFK-HND. *chef’s kiss* Perfect.

Hard to it book on points, so an ‘offer’ like this is actually quite useful, and you’ll definitely spend more than $2,500 on that particular route and class of service.

Ironically, there are often better deals on ANA if you are connecting to elsewhere in Southeast Asia (like HAN, BKK, etc.), as opposed to flying just to Japan.
