Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is happening now! Follow us as Greg, Nick, and Stephen compete to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines before November 23rd. Who will complete the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?

Follow along here!

By now, probably many of you already know that we’re all physically in the same location right now, right in the thick of our 2023 annual challenge, Party of 5. Yesterday we started our day in a suite in the Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay where we did our first ever Ask Us Anything Live from the same locale.  You’ll find the recording of our Ask Us Anything below.  Sorry that I haven’t yet had time to add timestamps!

Not sure what this challenge is? Start at the beginning for a full explanation.

As I’m typing this, I’m sitting in the Qantas Business Class Lounge awaiting a flight to…well..I’m not sure yet! (As you may recall, Stephen and I are now finished with our portion of the itinerary and now it’s Nick and Tim’s turn to surprise us with their incredible destinations.) You can follow along here on Instagram or read the daily updates post here.

We are headed to Japan in November and wonder how many areas around Tokyo you will visit and what you are most excited about seeing (excluding Disney).

One word: teamlabs. Or is that two words?

We are retiring to the Philippines next year. Currently transitioning from Amex to Chase, Citi and Cap One. Amex is rarely accepted in PI and Discover almost not at all. We have the CapOne venture X- general spend, Savor One-dining and wife just got the Sapphire Preferred despite being way over 5/24 ( Lucky her). We just closed 2 AX Plat and 2 Gold. Also closed Bonvoy Brilliant. Will keep AX Amazon Prime, Blue Business and Aspire. Will close BCP when we move. Will close Bilt Discover and GAP visa. Will keep a few other Visa MC. Have the CITI Premeire and AA Exec WMC. Also Costco card. We have the Charles Schwab Debit ( no ATM fees) Any ideas on other cards to get for use in the Philippines?

I am pretty adapt at finding reward space in the economy or business/1st class. I was wondering if any of you could provide any tips on how to search for premium economy availability like comfort plus or other carriers
That offer premium economy using points. Many times I do not need a lie flat. But do enjoy the extra space and seat locations of the premium economy sections as well as trying to save points
Thanks in advance and know that most of us are totally jealous of all of you as you travel around the globe!

TimR

Generally premium economy isn’t bookable with partners (there are exceptions such as booking JL premium economy with BA). Most of the time you need to search individual airlines that have premium economy (eg. United, Air France etc) with their own program
