It’s the first day of the month which means that Bilt is once again offering double points on all spend on the Bilt credit card. Not only that, but they’re also giving a 100% bonus when transferring points to Hawaiian Airlines, but only for today (February 1).
The Deal
- Get a 100% bonus when transferring Bilt points to Hawaiian Airlines.
Key Terms
- Bonus points good for a single transfer only from 2/1 at 12am ET and 2/2, 4:59am ET
Quick Thoughts
While the HawaiianMiles program isn’t normally very compelling, a 100% transfer bonus effectively halves their cost provided you’ve racked up enough Bilt points to transfer over a large enough chunk. That could make booking awards with them much more worthwhile, but only if you can find award availability today as it would be risky to speculatively transfer points over today, only to find zero or extortionate award flights.
Nick legitimately said, and I quote, “I won’t be transferring because I have 0 Bilt points”. You guys are SHILLING the hell out of this company and have ZERO Bilt points yourselves? Shows what an absolutely outrageous program this is. If it was any good, you’d be Bilt members. However, you’re getting kickbacks out the wazoo and talk about this program TWICE in one podcast last week and yet aren’t subscribers. Ridikerrlous!
Your logic is impeccable as it also clearly means that Greg is a cruise line shill for voting ‘cruise line status matching/free cruises’ as the 2022 Deal of the Year even though he hasn’t done any of those himself. It’s almost like we’re capable of seeing the value of a program even if it’s not something that necessarily holds much appeal for us personally (e.g. neither Nick, Greg nor I rent a home and so Bilt isn’t as much use for us personally).
I’m also not sure what kickbacks we’re supposed to have been taking, but we clearly forgot to add an AirTag to our wazoo as we appear to have misplaced it.
As for the final word of your comment, I hate to be the one to break this bad news to you, but saying Richard Kerr’s last name in every comment that you post on this site won’t get him to magically appear in your home like Candyman.
