(EXPIRED) Bilt Rent Day promo: Win up to 100K points, Business class on Virgin Atlantic or Emirates or more

Bilt is out with its latest Rent Day promotion, and this time it involves the chance to earn free points — potentially up to 100,000 Bilt points or enough to fly to London or Dubai in business class with partners. I imagine that most prizes will be relatively small, but given that it shouldn’t take long to take a swing at it, I imagine it’s worth logging in on Thursday to try your luck.

The Deal

• Bilt’s monthly Rent Day promotion will provide the chance for members to solve a puzzle and win prizes ranging from 25 Bilt points to 100,000 Bilt points or even points for two passengers to fly Virgin Atlantic business class to the UK or Emirates business class to Dubai. You will need to log in to the app on June 1, 2023 and solve the challenge to win (everyone wins something). See more details in the post below.
• Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the Bilt Rewards app.

• [25, 50, 10,000 or 100,000] Points: These points never expire and will be deposited directly into the winners Bilt account in the next 24 hours. Winner will see them in their timeline as ‘Rent Day Game’.

• [5,000 or 25,000] Points to use toward the Bilt Collection: These points never expire and will be deposited directly into the winners Bilt account in the next 24 hours. Winners will see the Points reflected when they go to the Collection tab and view their balance of Collection-specific Points. Upon checkout, Collection Points will be automatically used if the winner has any. If the item the winner chooses is worth less than the balance of their Collection Points, the winner will see the remainder showing in your Collection tab. If winner redeems for an item that is worth more than the Collection Points they have, the outstanding amount will pull from their spendable points and they will see this as a redemption in their timeline.

• $100 Lyft ride credit via a Lyft Pass:  Winner will see this reflected in their Lyft account over the next 48 hours, and the Pass will be valid for a year.  To view winners’ Lyft ride credit, head to the ‘Payment’ tab from the app menu, and the winner will see a pass from Bilt called Bilt Rent Day Birthday. When the winner takes their next ride, the Lyft Pass will be applied automatically.  If the winner doesn’t have a Lyft account, make sure the winner signs up with the same number associated with their Bilt account, and the Pass will be available in their account.

• 1 Month of Free Rent: Winner will be hearing from Bilt over the next 24 hours at their email address with next steps.

• Virgin Flight to London – Fly Upper Class Roundtrip with a Companion: Winner will be receiving Virgin Points to get them on their next adventure. Winners can use these to get themselves and a companion to the UK in Virgin’s Business Class, take a Virgin Voyage, and more. Winner will be hearing from Bilt within 24 hours at their email address with next steps and instructions.

• Emirates Flight to Dubai – Fly Business Class Roundtrip with a Companion – Winner will be getting Skywards Miles with Emirates to get them on their next adventure. Winners can use these to get themselves and a companion to Dubai, Milan, and more. Winner will be hearing from Bilt over the next 24 hours at their email address with next steps and instructions.

Bilt is billing this June 1st, 2023 Rent Day as a “Birthday” celebration for Bilt which is going to provide “gifts” for all Bilt members who solve The Rent Day Challenge.  Members will have to solve the Rent Day puzzle and then they’ll get an instant prize from the following list of potential prizes:

To win a prize, go to the Rent Day tab in the Bilt app (note that I sometimes have to update the app to see this correctly), solve the Rent Day Challenge correctly and you’ll get a “present” at the end. Everyone is a winner.

Again, I expect that most people will only receive 25 or 50 Bilt points, but I think it’s probably worth logging in and taking a swing at the prizes given that there is a chance to receive a meaningful number of points and the effort required to solve the puzzle will likely be pretty low.

If you are a Bilt Mastercard holder, don’t forget that you can earn double points (up to 10,000 bonus points) when you spend on your card on Rent Day (so 6x dining / 4x travel / 2x everywhere else except Rent, which is still only 1x). That makes Rent Day the ideal time to meet the minimum of 5 transactions per month that you need in order to earn 1x on your rent.
