Quick Thoughts
If Breeze offers a suitable routing at a suitable time for you, this could work out to be a very nice deal. Not only do you get 25% off the base fare when spending $150+ (presumably $150+ before taxes and fees), but you also get $50 worth of BreezePoints to redeem for a future flight. If the base fare of the flight is $150 or thereabouts, you’d effectively be saving more than 50% when accounting for both the discount and the points towards a future flight.
However, it is worth being aware that Breeze has been losing money hand over fist since launching. There is therefore a non-zero risk that the airline won’t be around to honor the $50 worth of points you’ll earn from your flight, so bear that in mind when assessing the value of this option versus your other booking options.
T&C does not indicate if you can get more than 1 $50 back in points. Have booked 2 tickets as of now with this promo – not sure if I would get 50 or 50*2
