Quick Thoughts
The travel credit added to each of the welcome offers above is of course for travel booked through Capital One Travel. That limits the utility of the credit somewhat given that it eliminates your ability to stack with a shopping portal, earn hotel points and elite credit, etc.
However, I’ve found the portal to be pretty good for flights (and I even had a positive experience with their price match process). Furthermore, Capital One has expanded access to vacation rental bookings to Quicksilver, VentureOne, and Savor cardholders, so you may have new options for using the credit.
The deal gets sweetened a bit further if you use a friend’s referral link. If you’re new to Capital One, you can earn an additional $50 statement credit from the referral offer (though note that if you have other existing Capital One consumer cards, you will not be eligible for the referral bonus).
Keep in mind the fact that Capital One cash back rewards can be converted to miles if you also have a miles-earning Capital One card (though obviously things like the travel credit and statement credit can not be converted to miles, whereas the cash back welcome bonus and cash rewards from spend on cards like the Quicksilver and Savor card can be converted to miles).
Overall, these welcome bonuses are not terribly compelling, but they might be a good fit for those who are chasing lower spending requirements.

I’m seeing an increased referral offer on the Venture card as well. 75,000 miles + a $300 credit.
