CardPointers now has a Firefox browser add-on

CardPointers is a very useful tool for keeping track of card-linked spending offers like Amex Offers, Chase Offers, Citi Offers, etc. Previously, the main ways of using the service were via its website, app or Chrome and Safari browser extensions, but there’s now an additional method – a Firefox browser add-on.

CardPointers Firefox browser add-on

I used Firefox as my browser for a while back in the day, but have used Chrome ever since it was launched almost two decades ago. Still, I know some people still swear by Firefox, so it’s great that CardPointers has added this browser extension for them.

You can install the extension on Firefox here; there are already almost ten 5 star reviews from happy users. If you’re new to CardPointers, be sure to check out our post here as you can also get a 30% discount on both yearly and lifetime memberships.

I think Cardpointers is just broke. I have a subscription from way back and it worked great for a while, but it hasn’t added any offers in prolly months, and every time it runs Amex stops showing me any offers at all for a while. I’ve updated all the software and reached out to the developer but no help.

Yep. I just signed up for lifetime membership and I’m going to request a refund/cancellation. In theory, the app sounds great, but it just doesn’t work. It did the same thing for me regarding amex offers. It activated every single one for one card, and then on the other cards amex displayed an error under the offers. And, the amex offers it did activate for that one card are not loaded to the cardpointers app. Side note, if you click on “view all” for the amex offers, you can see the offers for any particular card. I suspect amex did this so it wouldn’t work with the app on the home page for any particular card. It makes sense to me that amex would not want an app to be doing this with their offers.
Cardpointers should also have some sort of web browser application so I don’t have to refer to my phone app all the time.
It also seems like cardpointers is more interested in referring credit cards than showing offers, because that is all I really see it doing. I really dont care what bonuses there are for cards I don’t have.
