Choice Privileges is running its annual “Members Only Madness” offers this week. Yesterday’s offer was 20% off on a stay of 2 or more nights. The Day 2 offer is stackable: get 5,000 bonus points on a stay of 2 or more nights when you book by 11/20 and stay by 12/31/21.

- (1) must be a Choice Privileges® Rewards Program Member
- (2) make a reservation for a qualifying stay of two or more nights on ChoiceHotels.com or through the Choice mobile app by 11:59 PM EST on 11/20/2021, and
- (3) complete your stay by 12/31/2021.
- A stay includes all consecutive nights at the same hotel regardless of check-ins or checkouts.
- WoodSpring Suites ® and AMResorts® all-inclusive properties are among the hotels that are not currently participating.
- This offer is only valid for qualifying stays, which excludes rooms booked below certain rates, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third party online retailer as part of pre-paid wholesale rates, wholesale packages or senior tours.

Quick Thoughts
Unfortunately, this isn’t as good as the offer we saw in late 2019 to get 10K points with a 2-night stay. However, if you were already considering a Choice Privileges stay, this is obviously a nice bonus. Greg has written a lot recently about the great values to be had if you hunt around with Choice Privileges points, so this could be a nice offer if you’re already going to stay at a Choice property. It isn’t worth staying just to earn the points though. Don’t forget to register for the promotion.

Hi Nick, I’m just curious, can you electronically check in and electronically check out and (not physically be there) get credited with the nights on your loyalty acct?
Officially, no. Unofficially, maybe? I legit forgot about a reservation during the 2019 promo and never checked in or out, just no-showed, and my credit card got charged for the stay and I got the bonus points. I wouldn’t book a stay and count on that working – better to have a cheap Choice you can run to and check in whether at home or somewhere else you’ll be visiting before the end of the year.
Also note that Choice has a minimum “qualifying” rate of $40 per night.
