Choice Privileges / Bluegreen Vacations Timeshare Offer: 3 nights and 40k points for $199

5

Choice Privileges and Bluegreen Vacations have released yet another timeshare presentation offer that gets you a three-night stay and 40,000 Choice points for $199. The points alone are worth more than the price, so if you can use one of the stays (and are steel-willed in the face of a timeshare sales-rep) this could be an appealing deal.

The Deal

  • Get a 3 night hotel stay + 40,000 Choice Privileges points for $199 from Bluegreen Vacations.

Quick Thoughts

This is a decent deal, as $199 gets you a three night vacation plus 40,000 Choice Privileges points. The points alone are worth ~$265, so this could be a worthwhile opportunity if you also want to spend three nights at any of the eligible locations, which include Myrtle Beach, Ozark Mountains, Smoky Mountains, St Augustine, Charleston, New Orleans, Savannah and more.

Nick attended one of these Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentations with his wife and two children and made out like a fedora-wearing bandit because, in addition to the rewards for attending the presentation, they put him up at one of Marriott’s brands – not Choice’s – and he was able to earn bonus points and double elite night credits, as well as getting elite benefits during his stay. YMMV on that last part, but it’s worth being aware of the opportunity in case you’re able to put together something similar.

Something that always bears repeating on these timeshare posts – don’t take advantage of this kind of offer unless you’re certain you can withstand the sales pressure tactics and will be able to decline their most wonderful, one-of-a-kind, stupendous, I’m giving you my first born child, don’t tell the manager I’m giving you this incredible deal, you’re robbing me blind pitches.

Keep in mind there’s a 30-day booking period after purchasing.

In this timeshare deals, can you choose the dates precisely? Are there any blackout days?

I did this last year for 80k points in Phoenix and they put me at the Residence Inn Phoenix North/Happy Valley. I got the Marriott confirmation number from them and put it into the Marriott app and earned elite nights. They tried to put me at a Hilton initially but I said I had to have a Marriott mattress for my back and they switched me.

Churnable after 15mo! Dug into the link within the link to find this language:
…”those who have attended a Bluegreen/Bluegreen Vacations timeshare sales presentation without purchase within the past 15 months.”
Last year got 80k points, but contemplating doing this again, had a lovely visit to Savannah and sales people were decent.
